So how on EARTH does Giuliani not get the Howard Dean treatment by the media?

smerconish was just on saying that he thought Dracula did a great job in the hall last night, but that he was swamped with calls today on his show, complaining that Vlad was possessed of a very unpleasant demeanor.

he was completely off his rocker last night. just CONSUMED with rage.

I hate to violate that old Godwin guy's oft-employed precept, but he was at LEAST as rabid as AH at his most vituperative.

really. see if it's on youtube. I'll post this and go find it if it's there. astonishing how crazy he looked. I'd hate to have been in the first few rows. Gushing Gallagher gobs of goob were flying all over the place, I reckon.

It’s a good first step toward an understanding of why, more than a half-century after Goldwater’s failed campaign, an attraction to extremes and a disdain for moderation has left libertarianism languishing at the margins of American political life.

happened to be Birchers. mom took me to see him in 63 or 64. He was pretty cool, and I was pretty dumb.

not a bad speaker, as I recall

I remember reading A choice, not an echo. phyllis schlafly, anthem, and the howard roark book by that hugely untalented ayn rand

hey....I was pretty damn young. what did I know. at least I got over it
