Only 1 word can describe trump’s speech.

no need to take language apart or trying to decipher any part of it.
The fact of the matter is...This Speech and the reaction to it in the Center was FRIGHTENING!

End of Story..

We need to move ahead now as a unified party to make sure that this fear monger is squashed
into history to the point that he will never be relevant again..

that played his speech, and I don't think our patrons found it to be fear mongering even though it was.

I wasn't paying attention, but what I did hear was rambling and didn't make any sense. How could that be threatening?

it already is. I have seen several minds change on other boards, Twitter, etc. where they were not ready to get behind Hillary. It was like a light switch. It will definitely gain momentum over the next week.

The only thing is that we have to be vigilant against the media. A lot of them were happy with tonight's fright fest. We need to understand that they will consider next week boring and not as good as this week. We ALL know that will not be the case.

The media seem like they're doing some damage control since one thing was clear above all else, the man didn't want to end that speech and wait for the lights to go off. I know I've heard the same sentiments from other men and they didn't work out well at all if they got into office at any level.

He'll get a ratings bump and then Clinton will remind people what competence sounds like.

I hope it's enough. I lived through one Nixon. I don't want another one and this assclown will be worse.

loved this country and he did have at least a vague grasp of foreign policy. Trump loves Trump and he's an idiot when it comes to anything else, especially when it doesn't directly benefit him.

One thing that might die with him if he gets in is any idea of a "unitary executive." Even the GOP would realize the danger of that one by the time he'd been squatting in the Oval Office for the first month.

He'd be the bull in the china shop, charging around full of equal amounts ignorance and overconfidance.

And no, I don't think that's hyperbole. Go read some of his Nuremberg speeches, particularly the ones from the late 20's to the early and mid 30's. The similarities will astound you.

when he said there would be law & order on the streets, I envisioned military rule, curfews, round up of citizens, etc. It was beyond frightening.

Hi,

I used to think that the Republicans would own the mistakes made after they get back into power, but Trump is clearly not thinking about the Republicans. They've been had. Trump will do what he wants and blame anyone he likes.

At the broadest level, this has been a failure of democracy. There has always been the danger that democracy will validate a loose cannon populist or a charismatic fanatic, short circuiting party systems.
