Mario Cuomo's 1984 convention speech

After this week's hate-fest, it's refreshing to listen to intelligent, passionate, well-written discourse. I'm an oratory buff, and this speech will forever be a great example of the speechwriting craft and of the progressive philosophy. What a welcome respite.

Very good, even outstanding speech. When he got rolling he was nailing the points. Sensible, articulate, intelligent and mature.
