Delegate, 102, shares a tender moment with congressman



" Jerry Emmett, the 102-year-old honorary chair of the Arizona Democratic delegation, shared an unexpected and tender moment with U.S. Rep. John Lewis of Georgia on Tuesday.

Lewis, a civil rights leader, addressed the Arizona delegation and stressed the importance of focusing on races for offices other than the presidency, from school board to the statehouse.

I would love to know her life story of how she ended up such a decent person. And I love the look of joy in her face meeting who she realizes is a genuine American hero.
