Encounter with a trumpite I had earlier
As some of you may know, trump was campaigning in Davenport, Iowa earlier today. My brown skinned daughter and I went down there to pick up her race packet and mingle a bit. There is a small spray park across the street from the theater down there and naturally, she was drawn to it as were several other kids. They were all having a good time until a trumpite came along. He had a sign that said, "Hillary for Prison." He then went around talking to parents and saying hi to the kids. Except one kid. Mine. He looked at me and asked, "Hey is that your kid?" I replied, Yes she is." I mean what else was I supposed to say? He said, "She shouldn't be here with all these white kids. She doesn't belong here." Well, TJO, my kid, started crying when she heard this. I told the guy I'd be happy to rip his head off and shove it up his ass, where it belonged. He then said, "You Liberals are all violent even though you preach peace." I told him that I am a peace loving man but will protect my kid at all costs. Then a cop walked over and told him to move along.
Several people whose kids were playing with TJO commented that they were glad I stood up to a bully. I told them that the best way to defeat a bully is punch him in the gut. Another guy said this was the reason trump must be beaten. I agreed with him and we all went in the River Center to get our kids race supplies. It's probably a good thing I didn't act on my first instinct, which was to do exactly what I suggested to that guy. I'm not sure I could make bail and besides, I wouldn't be doing any good in county jail. Although that cop looked awfully angry with that guy and may not have stopped me.
