I Honestly Don't Know............

............how anyone could watch both conventions and then turn around and still vote for Dumb Donald Drumpf. The two conventions were polar opposites of each other. They were like photo negatives of each other. One was dark and gloomy and painted a stark picture of America essentially in flames while the other was bright and optimistic and full of hope. One was heavy on hatred and bluster and short on facts; the other was a blueprint for how to fix the things that need fixing by bringing people together. One featured a murderer's row of incredible speakers (many of whom could be--or WERE--Presidents themselves) who blew the roof off the joint; the other featured Chachi, an underwear model, and a guy who hunts ducks. One was hopeful and forward-thinking; the other was just........scary.

I honestly just don't see ANY undecided person watching both conventions and then deciding that Drumpf is the way to go. I'd be interested to see the "instant polling" data that one network usually does during debates done after these conventions, because I think it would show a pretty overwhelming response among undecided voters.

I think it's pretty safe to say that whatever bounce Dumb Donald got from his convention is all but erased now. I expect to see the polls next week showing Hillary with a pretty resounding lead. Again, I just don't know how anyone could watch both conventions and still vote for Drumpf.

Donald Trump and his supporters are a good argument for "de-evolution"--
the theory that man is descending into apes.

After years of hate TV and radio. They either will refuse to even watch or will only watch a few minutes. Not to listen but to scream insults at their TV.

I bought the hat. I can't not vote for him, that would make me feel stupid. I already feel ashamed. I have to vote for him.

Trump speaks to people who are predisposed to certain thoughts and they respond to him by blocking everything else out of their minds.

if that means blocking out common sense and compassion in order to submit to their own fears, they'll do that.

They will create the "reality" that they think they're entitled to... Nothing else matters.

Depravity being defined as moral corruption. The corruption of the love for money. Acquiring money and power at any costs. Valueing money more than serving and helping people. The corruption of liars, thieves, harsh and divisive speech, envy, and ill-will. Is it any surprise that a deeply depraved Trump is the nominee of the GOP. Thanks to Bernie Sanders, the Dem party has somewhat rediscovered its roots in FDR's vision of helping people live better lives. We need to continue to reform the Dem party to be the party that raises up people, not the servant of corporations and the war masters of war.
