From July 29th to November 7th there are 102 days. I'm not including Election Day November 8th.
Please please please do something. One day at your local campaign office whether a Hillary office or your state races or your local Sheriff, School Board, anywhere.
PLEASE
You will be greeted with open arms and smiles. I personally have meant to go in but for different reasons (I'm on vacation at the beach right now) I haven't. That is changing next week.
One day of phone calls. Canvassing (my specialty in Tim Kaine's Senate run) requires a toughening of the skin but I ran into 1 person in 1,200 doors who was an asshole - I even had Republicans thank me for doing something in the process.
One day. Trust me you will love the experience, camaraderie, the feeling of being a part of something you will carry with you the rest of your life. The first time you register someone to vote will stay with you forever. Literally that's it. Register one person to vote.
One day. Phones calls. Stuff envelopes. General help around the office. Being the person at the front desk welcoming people. Take in some food (the "kids" at those offices LOVE home cooked food), be a part of the food crew -- campaigns run of off coffee and Diet Coke/Pepsi. Something. Anything.
You will remember it the rest of your life. On Election night you will have a pride like you can't believe.
One day. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.
