"For two-years Caroline Barnes has been fighting to overturn the decision to euthanize her pit bull type dog after the Belfast City Council ruled Lennox dangerous in May 2010. Today, even despite the world-wide campaign to save the dog who never bit anyone or misbehaved with his family was ordered by the Court of Appeals to die.

Barnes appeared with her attorneys in front of Lord Justice Girvan, Lord Chief Justice Sir Declan Morgan, and Lord Justice Higgins. All confirmed and pointed to the Dangerous Dog Act adopted by Northern Ireland in 2011 as well as reports from the dog wardens who originally removed Lennox from his home."
