Wargasm.

You know that Murika as a collective finds a certain amount of bellicose swagger intoxicating. I think when all of Murkia tunes into the election, Obama will and should talk about all the evil-doers he's taken out. He'll get to flex his wargasmic love muscle. So he gets to be calm, rational and kick-ass at the same time--like Spock with an glock and a cigarette dangling out of his mouth. He'll make Romney look impotent. Romney will equivocate, parse, etc., while Obama can just get back to basics, which is kick ass and take names (which he literally does with his kill list).

I find all of this shit nauseating, but whatever sells, you know? And lots of men will be sitting on the fence, so I think the wargasm has to be part of (not all or even primary) the reelection narrative.
