Quote from Robert Kennedy, Jr.

"While communism is the control of business by government, fascism is the control of government by business. My American Heritage Dictionary defines fascism as 'a system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership together with belligerent nationalism.' Sound familiar?"

-Robert Kennedy, Jr.

who says Hitler was left wing because he called his group National Socialists. Or some such blather. I'd show this to him, but he'd find other definitions he prefers. He's doesn't like dictionary definitions. Which makes it difficult to debate, since we don't agree on language or meaning.

definitions of words. That's what a dictionary is for. But you could always show the guy similar definitions from political science text books.

I'll mention that. I don't like talking with him about politics because he tends to fantasize rather than coherently discuss. Most republicans do that.
