It's just the length of my drive-time. Perfect!

She gets up in the morning, hits her computer, does her work, takes a break, might put in a load of laundry, back to work, break for lunch, back to work until she's done--she might finish up earlier than she would at the office, but that's because she has fewer distractions. The "no commute" thing is great too, and she can work in her casual clothes.

She is one of the most productive people in her division, too!

I used to stay home sometimes (pretending to be sick) just so I could work without being interrupted, to get stuff done.

So, it's not really about how much work you get done.

We wfh 2 days a week at our office, and I get way more done, I work longer, and start earlier. I don't mind work at all when I'm at home, but i hate to be in the office...!

I spent as much time goofing off at work with co-workers as I do working from home.

That includes posting here.

All I cared about is if they do the job.

was learning that I have to clearly explain to everyone that being "at home" doesn't mean that I can come out and play. That message was for phone as well as doorbell; at least that's one thing cell phones made easier. At one point I actually had to put a "do not disturb" sign on the front door; doorbell rang anyway, pesky neighbor who pointed at the sign and asked, "What's that for?" Sheesh.

I have done more 'off clock' work than I ever did when working in an office...

I feel privileged to work remotely..and would rather under count my hours than over count them..just because I LOVE being able to work from home.
