(11,945 posts)They're saying that it is going to hurt the Dems more than they're anticipating because it's worded as a 'tax', and that if they can't get Obama out and repeal the ACA next year, that we're going to see a 12% to 15% pay cut to pay for all the additional taxes that are scheduled to support the ACA. Also saying they're really confused by Roberts since he's a smart man and knows who he's working for. He didn't make the right decision.

(21,475 posts)If my business provided health insurance for my employees, I would have serious reservations about continueing to do so after ACA becomes fully implemented.. I would know that even if I discontinued providing health insurance, my employees would still get their insurance at the same rates or lower and with government assistance. It would be a tremendous boon for my business as health insurance costs have soared to a point where my viability is becoming questionable... I would suddenly be able to compete with foreign companies which have NEVER had this huge expense to deal with. On the bright side though I would be able to pay my employees a little more since such a huge expense had been lifted from my business...I think we are on a very slippery slope toward single payer health care..
