Are we suffering from collective attention defect disorder? The yammering heads on MSNBC we blabbing that the democrats no longer can target the supreme court as election worthy criticism ammunition. Uh, WRONG...! Have we forgotten Citizens United? A ruling by one of the most activist Supreme Court collection of fascists in our nations history? Christ I hope we are smarter than Tweety makes us out to be, and I'm a bit ashamed of Rachel Maddow in this regard as well...

(18,672 posts)Nope. The USSC of the past 12 years is still the most corrupt in our nation's history.

(60,041 posts)Had John Nichols on - his view is that this is just what Reich said - face saving - and that the earlier rulings (Cit. United, further stripping of Union rights) is more in line with the truth - also that Roberts may have gone this way because it is a big advantage to health insurance cos ($$$$).
No time to take the pedal off the metal - the righties on the court still suck big time - all of them.

CU was a disaster . But I can still be glad for the ACA ruling.

(9,933 posts)We still need to elect a democrat as president in the hopes of appointing more liberals to the supreme court and overturning Citizen's United.
Need to get rid of corporate personhood too...

Thank you for the ruling, SCOTUS, but may you burn in hell for CU.
Hey, MSNBC: I'm no genius, but don't call me stupid.
