Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region Forums(D)s should offer to repeal and replace the Individual Mandate
with a public option.
It keeps health care in the debate and makes us look like we are trying to work with the (R)s on something neither side likes. This will just force them to keep saying "no" to everything.
We have nothing to lose.

The ACA was one step, we should take the next one and then expand on it. Single payer wouldn't get 30 votes in the Senate, maybe not even 20, and we need 60 to get anything passed. We should try to pass something that has a chance.
