Time for Obama to seize tomorrow's headline and make an offer

to GOP....if GOP is so outraged and fired up against the mandate, let's work together for public option, other taxes that would support ACA, or single payer. Obama originally preferred any of these to the mandate and should take advantage of the opportunity to move the discussion back to the left.

SCOTUS removed a barrier to these kinds of talks. He would appear to be reaching across the aisle, in contrast to the GOP who appear to only be interested in stamping their feet, having a meaningless ACA repeal vote again, and moving us backward.

A physicians group is all over it and they are exactly right: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002870416#post6

Even dems can't pass up this golden opportunity.

had w/Obama when Obama was still in the Senate.

Obama said then that we had to take into consideration the millions of people employed by the Health Insurance Industry, so unless they have a plan to ensure those people don't become unemployed, I'm not sure he's going to pursue this.

Although, I'm still fuzzy on Public Option -- does that allow the Industry to remain intact?
