My poor ignorant racist nephew...

I love him, but he said this on FB...

Idk that any real vet would operate as you do with no military standards ethos or morals draining the life out of their family and only a fool of a vet would support a military back stabbing full suck as obama when the only reason he's in office is cuz he's black can you say eeo

I replied....

You are saying that I have no military standards, morals and that I'm a fool for supporting President Obama? Seriously? You think I'm so completely inept, stupid and ignorant that I would put a check next to a box because of the color of someone's skin? What does that say about any white person who voted for the white guy then?

******

I'm ashamed he's in my family.

You probably just shouldn't even entertain his argument and just condemn his atrocious grammar!

He brought up my deceased dad and tried to bash me over the head. It was sickening.

I'm actually hurt by all this. I doubt he cares, though.

If that first paragraph is a literal copy, then I think he needs to educate himself a little better.

Oh, and I'm currently active duty military and I'm voting for Obama again in Nov

God bless cynatnite

Is this a blood relative or by marriage? And, was he directing this to YOU or veterans, in general? My nephew would have to leave the country if he spoke to me like that.

Excellent retort, though.

Gotta laugh at those who think that people voted for Obama because he was black. Where has he been?

I'm fortunate that all of my relatives are DUers. But truly, if someone speaks to you like that, why don't you unfriend them?

A friend's in-law is a democrat, and she's friends with me on FB. And she would post these interesting political things, and she has family members from across the Country that would absolutely attack her that way.. every time. I stopped commenting on anything she posted, because they were attacking me, too. I don't know her well enough to ask WHY she is still "friends" with mean and racist people like that, regardless of their bloodlines.

I think your nephew was trying to refer to equal opportunity with eeo, or he's referring to Old McDonald's farm, hard to tell. I just won't let my relatives or anyone talk to me that way. And I wouldn't love them, either. Apparently no one in the family has ever taught him about respect and kindness.
