in politics (not until 2007 -- I wouldn't have known who she was before), then kind of went ewwww when there was a question about her being okay with waterboarding, but since then she has continued to amaze, impress and awe me. Are you watching by any chance?

Sorry for my late response. I was away from my computer.

I am glad to find another Nancy Pelosi fan!

People forget that the President, his staff and Harry Reid etc. etc. were ready to abandon health care. Pelosi was the one who held it together and got it through the house. (This was far more difficult than getting it through the Senate.) She paid a heavy cost politically. And history will not remember her. But without her, this day does not occur.

So emotional....she choked up when she started talking about the Black Caucus' plan to walk out when the vote begins:

"How else...how else can we show the American people what is happening here - without scaring them?"

I luv me some Nancy Pelosi. ?
