I understand that there is a desire to bring in a younger audience, and maybe the hosts will grow into it. But, this show is very college television studio. I don't give it long.

She is that for sure.

(50,649 posts)I didn't like it from the first show but decided to give it another chance today and it's even worse than I first thought.
I think I am just going to stay away from MSNBC until 2 pm (MT) when Martin Brashir comes on.

(9,581 posts)I urge everyone to do the same. What, we don't have to listen to enough right-wing bullshit????
The Velveteen Ocelot
(116,031 posts)it's the whole format of the show. I like Steve Kornacki well enough when he appears on other shows, but the way they have this set up, it's all like these super-cool college kids pontificating about politics. Reminds me of when I was in college and the poli. sci. majors wore suits and carried briefcases to class and thought they knew more than anybody else.

I'm so sick of hearing soliloqus from RWers and when the left starts speaking they get constantly interrupted.
I've seen Sippy Cupp just the once today and I already can't stand her republican stinky ass.

(21,925 posts)Today Ms. Cupp said some right wing website completely debunked the Fortune Magazine debunking of the Republican conspiracy theory about Fast & Furious. Crystal Ball said 'what do you mean the debunking was debunked?' to which Cupp said 'it was thoroughly debunked' to which Crystal Ball said 'oh'. Exciting and informative journalism.

(2,307 posts)It reminded me of a college tv show too.
Add Cupp to the mix and I simply will not watch.

(47,778 posts)but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. I don't know if it will last because as a group, they come across as very young and inexperienced.
It is a new format for MSNBC, so I'm sure there will be some changes and adjustments, but I wouldn't discount it so quickly. As for Cupp, I don't know if there is hope for her. It isn't just because she is a conservative - she is really annoying.
