The court has upheld Executive privilege in certain circumstances and rejected it in others.

Those types of documents have been held under Executive Privilege for decades. Bush asserted executive privilege over the same sort of documents numerous times.

Nixon used that argument in Watergate and the court rejected it. He said the conversations were internal deliberations with his aides.

Well, other than a huge risk of even further lowering the publics opinion of this congress. Other than that, they accomplished nothing.

and Issa is a horrible actor.
