Which was the bigger news event today: ACA upheld or Holder found in contempt?

How do you see it?

I think the Dems ought to take a quick victory lap on ACA (after all, it was already passed) and then HAMMER THE FUCK out of the contempt vote.

ACA is the news, and I want to thank all the RW talking heads for their outrage.

They seem convinced that the average voter is as much against health care reform as they are.

But they're wrong.

I'm not hearing or seeing any thing in the media about the Holder vote, except here on DU.

It then goes to the....get this....Attorney General's office to enforce the contempt. I see it going places there.

It was a petty political stunt with no legs. Feigned outrage over some absent minded Bush initiated program that Holder actually demanded answers to when shit hit the fan. Nothing more and nothing less.

Repubs must have thought they were going to get in a double whammy today -- ACA struck down plus the contempt vote, making the Obama administration look extremely vulnerable. Except with the upholding of ACA Obama now looks like a winner and the contempt vote looks like partisan sour grapes.

The GOP wanted to PILE ON ... ACA overturned, then the Holder vote ... they would have flogged those 2 victories from now till Nov 6th.

With the ACA upheld, they are screwed ... and they now look like a bunch of angry children throwing a tantrum.

But I think when they use this, they should also include all of the abortion bills, and women's rights bills, as a large story of the GOP's OBSTRUCT OBSTRUCT OBSTRUCT position.

ACA will affect tens of millions of people. The Holder vote was just more partisan pony-puckey.
