agreement.

It's so good that even Rmoney is in favor of it, as is the Chamber of Commerce.

Trans-Pacific negotiations have been taking place throughout the Obama presidency. The deal is strongly supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the top lobbying group for American corporations. Obama's Republican opponent in the 2012 presidential elections, Mitt Romney, has urged the U.S. to finalize the deal as soon as possible.

When signed, it will produce even more jobs.

Here's the free-trade agreements that have been signed so far:

Are you equating the American Jobs Act with the pending free-trade agreement for the Pacific? If you are, I know of no basis for doing so.

Under the normal rules, laws are changed with a simple majority. In some instances under the current practice, the Republicans say that they are opposed to certain proposed legislation and it is claimed that the Republicans are conducting a filibuster when they do so. Under that practice, a super-majority is needed to get any legislation opposed by the Republicans through the Senate. In contrast, if the Republicans want to get legislation passed, it will need to go through a committee and follow the normal steps but will only require a majority.

From past experience, all we need for more jobs is another "free trade" agreement. Of course, the additonal jobs will be in foreign countries rather than here.
