Write in Votes for Jesus Campaign.

You can't make this crap up!

http://www.christianpost.com/news/evangelist-urges-christians-to-vote-for-jesus-not-obama-or-romney-74830/
Bill Keller, an Internet evangelist who runs LivePrayer.com, has launched a new campaign urging Americans to vote for Jesus instead of Mitt Romney or President Barack Obama in November's general election. The minister says the idea for the initiative came directly from God.

Keller, who in the past has compared the choice between Romney and Obama as "flipping a coin where Satan is on both sides," explained in an exclusive interview with The Christian Post on Friday that Christians can play a big part in the future of America by making a statement vote by writing in "Jesus" on their ballots, instead of choosing "the lesser of two evils."

This is a way for Christians once and for all to stand up and make their voice heard. We saw in North Carolina last week – Christians came together as one and took a stand against gay marriage, winning by 20 percent," Keller said, referencing the state's vote last week that resulted in the passage of an amendment protecting the traditional definition of marriage as between one man and one woman.

I hope the right-wing fundies take his counsel. The thought of one of the major voting blocks that back kleptocracy, top-down-class warfare and the war on women crumbling in this election would be a good thing for the country, if not for the GOP and the so-called "Christian" right.

As an aside, would other right-wing whack jobs start talking about the Nazarene and HIS birth certificate?

Let's face it, very few of the people participating in this would otherwise have voted for Obama. And when the Republicans will be doing all they can to suppress the Democratic vote, it's hard to have any moral qualms about "dirty tricks" in encouraging as many people as possible to vote for Jesus instead of the Rmoneylender in the temple.

Clearly he is not a "natural born Amurikkkan" and as such is ineligible for the presidency.

Someone failed to think this through. What a surprise.

The real Jesus, not the judgmental, right-wing, fundamentalist version: the one who said stuff like "And why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye, and not notice the beam which is in your own eye?" and "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

But they don't believe in THAT Jesus. They believe in the Capitalist who charged for his services and hung out with rich folk.
