Question for any from the right who wandered in here: Why the heck should anyone

believe anything that comes out of Mitt Romney's mouth? The man has flipflopped, obfuscated, dithered, slithered, and outright lied without batting an eyelash. Why would you expect anyone to believe him on any issue? Furthermore, why would you support a compulsive liar?

Than to worry about the character of Romney. As one of the Republicans said, they just need someone to sign the bills.

I thought Edwards was the lowest piece of crap on the planet in 2004, and my estimation of him hadn't gotten any better in 2008.

But I voted for him as VP in 2004 and if he had won the nomination in 2008 I wold have voted for him over McCain.

The Supreme Court is just as important to them as it is to us, and all the same arguments apply as well in reverse. If I were a RWer I would vote for the R candidate for president no matter how silly the candidate was.
