Is the healthcare law in danger on 7/11? I am scared stiff that theymight do something bad to it!

I am now scared stiff about what I heard this morning on MJ that the idiots at Congress will try to repeal the obamacare on 7/11. So, can someone that knows more about these things, tell me if Obamacare is still in danger at Congress on 7/11 or the repeal votes will not harm it, I am truly confused and like I said, now that we have it, will be lose it by these devils at congress?

No, it will pass the house but the senate won't even take it up for a vote. ZM90 Jun 2012 #1

For repeal to pass they need both the house and senate and for President Obama to sign it which he will never do and to override President Obama's veto they need 2/3 of congress.

So basically this is just a pointless exercise meant to gin up their base.

The only way Obamacare can go away now is for a Republican House and Senate to repeal it and for a president Romney to sign the repeal into law.

Teabaggers wil be going to the polls in droves over this come November.

can be problematic, not just politically but legislatively, I bet it would be far easier to suspend taxation than to repeal a law entirely.

everytime I see that undesirable piece of s---- of Cantor on tv I get extremely upset, not only with him, but with McConnell and actually, ALL of them pieces of s----. We have to really do our best to keep that Romney away from the White House or we will have something far worse than a Poltergeist in this country.

However, if the Republicans got the Senate they may have a better chance.

Besides, while the House is RW-controlled, the Senate isn't. So this is just grandstanding and theatrics. It can't go anywhere.

will take a super majority to get rid of it. The republicans know damn well there is nothing they can do, so it's all theater for their stupid uninformed base!
