Campaign video goes on offense: Obamacare is about helping real people

Campaign video goes on offense: Obamacare is about helping real people

by Jed Lewison

You know what the most satisfying thing is about the Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare? Thinking about all the people who will live healthier, longer and more secure lives because of it. And that's exactly the story this new video from the Obama campaign tells:

Beyond all the statistics, beyond all the political battles and legal arguments, beyond the economic theory, there are people and their lives. And at its heart, that's what Obamacare is all about.

1. It's a good, informative ad. I wish it would be aired on TV, but since it's nearly 2 min.

long, I'm guessing it's only going to be shown on the web?

3. Since Obama is being outspent 3 to 1 by the GOP, I guess it's up to us to hit that donate button..

On the screen at the end of the video. I'm guessing that will tell the campaign what videos we think are most effective. Even if we can't give much, they'll know it.

4. True. We need to donate. Lots of little donations can help get close to the huge donations

5. And that's how they get matching funds. I don't know if that's from the government, although I don't

Think it is, but some of the big money donors make challenges to see if people really care before they throw their money into races. I hate to make the analogy, but it's kind of like a dollar = vote, but not the real vote in November.

2. The M$M should have been reporting this all along, instead of hiding the truth. Half the questions..

Being asked had been answered months ago by the administration. The media has been deliberately lying to us, holding back the facts so blatantly, just like Fox shutting off sound and editing videos for years now. Culminating in the EPIC FALL by CNN yesterday. Time to re-think what this administration is doing versus the lies, distortions by hate radio, the wing nut pundits on cable, and simply failing to report what the American people need to know to make decisions. Anyone fighting for the people and you will get abused mercilessly. Here we go, let's turn this around.
