Why did I think he would help clear things up?
He is definitely voting for Romney - listen to this shit...
Some woman wrote in and said she had a knee replacement because she knew she would need it and wanted to get it done before Obamacare and his health care rationing and death panels kicked in.
His response? Yes, there will be administrators at the top who will decide how much healthcare some people should receive. He went on for a few minutes about that. Then quickly said it will be the same as it is now.
Then someone asked what President Obama is talking about when he said that the cost of healthcare would go down?
His response? He doesn't know. Healthcare costs continue to rise. Then he added that certain preventive measures will now be free.
Then... the icing on the cake.....
Someone called in and spoke about how the gopers want to repeal Obamacare but never say what they are going to replace it with. His response??? Well I spoke with the Romney campaign. They want to get rid of the mandate but will keep the other popular parts of the program in place - such as no discrimination for pre-existing conditions, and keeping children on their parents healthcare plan until they are 26. He repeated that twice.
I sure hope that there is someone from the Obama administration that is going to get infront of this bullshit!

(11,304 posts)of cowards. They have to sell it. Obama is right when he tells them to go out and be aggressive and sell it. They don't we lose. They let republicans do like the last time then we are in trouble. Then I say they deserve to lose.

doesn't really matter who you assign as spokesperson if he can't get on air.
I think it's wrong to blame the Obama Admin for 'not gettng the message out' (how I hear the pundits say it) when they are not invited to shows to Get the Message out often enough to override all the ridiculous lies and airtime the Repugs get.

(3,820 posts)I wrote this in a post yesterday. When Michael Moore came out with "Sicko", Gupta came out with a video countering everything Moore said...only it turns out Gupta's main witness, whom Gupta identified as a doctor, was in reality an insurance lobbyist pretending to be a doctor. Gupta was well aware of the man's real job. Gupta isn't a hack, he's a quack.

(24,096 posts)he accused Michael Moore of 'fudging the numbers' in his movie Sicko?
I read some of the comments on Gupka's website and very few were supportive of him. Most everyone was screaming out what an idiot Gupka was. The page was shutdown eventually - he can't handle the Truthka.

(1,362 posts)-- Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position. Propaganda is usually repeated and dispersed over a wide variety of media in order to create the chosen result in audience attitudes.
As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda, in its most basic sense, presents information primarily to influence an audience. Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus possibly lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or uses loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the attitude toward the subject in the target audience to further a political agenda. Propaganda can be used as a form of political warfare. --

Watching those interviews was a thing of beautry. Gubta was totally outclassed, not so much by Moore himself as by the FACTS deliverd by Moore.
And when Wendell Potter revealed that the Ins Industry had spent a fortune to try to discredit Moore and his movie, and apologized publicly to him for participating himself, there was little doubt left who Gupta gets his 'facts' from.

(51,076 posts)I'm happy it was corrected. It matters not though as I'll not watch them again even on a bet. They lost me and for months I'd email them about once a week reminding them that they had, finally I gave it up and went on to bigger fish.
