(16,112 posts)Comstock won re-election by a margin of 53%-46%. During the first recess of the 115th session of Congress, constituents requested to meet with her in a Town Hall format, however, she declined to appear in person citing scheduling difficulties. Along with other members of congress facing anti-Trump backlash, Comstock scheduled conference calls, dubbed "tele-town halls," during which questions are screened by aides, with no follow-ups, crowd reactions, or visuals.
Her district, the 10th District is "essentially the swingiest district in the swingiest state."!
I don't believe that this one no vote is going to be enough to help her, Comstock voted with her party in 99.1% of votes so far in the current session of Congress and voted in line with President Trump's position in 96.6% of votes, this is as of April 13 of this year!

(14,851 posts)His last TH was March 18th and "The house was full and most of the questions were asked by progressives so we were well represented. It became quite contentious at times when Buchanan wouldn't answer questions. Overall, he didn't directly answer much." (from Resist/Sarasota)
