I totally agree - criminally inaccurate.
Where is the statement that this is a tax cut bill for the very rich? Where is the statement about the number of people that will lose coverage?
Bye bye, NYT.

(43,229 posts)I read it as, "Trump's plan overwhelmingly benefits the rich compared to the poor."
Which I felt was rather accurate, but who am I to argue?

(3,268 posts)Did the asshole promise to get a bill half way through congress??? No-he promised he would repeal and replace and multiple times he promised to do it "on day one". All the median are treating this as a "victory" even if they then admit it probably can't pass the senate...

(6,916 posts)Paul Krugman has been pointing since about 2006 out the damage done to America by the Times' bothsidesism.
The Times is a great paper. But they need to wake up about the new media reality where the GOP is willing to blatantly lie, and stop amplifying the lies.
Report the truth. Don't report what people say especially when those people are willing to lie.
