The primaries are over!
PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE
quit posting the anti-Bernie/anti-Hillary crap here. It's not accomplishing anything productive.
I've been on juries nearly every day for months now and it's been pretty much the same crap from people on both sides.
How about we put a little more effort into HELPING Democrats (and Progressives) instead, and focus on organizing, protesting and donating!

(3,447 posts)There are still people trying to radicalize others, and you're doing a FINE job of interrupting it with all this fancy-schmancy talk of 'getting along' and 'HELPING' (as if we would HELP anyone!).
I don't know what sort of game you're playing here shill, but you best move along and let the radicalizin' get back to radicalizin'. There aren't yet enough people on this site that have been tricked into hating their fellow Americans yet and more are needed!
(Obviously sarcasm. )

I've been pretty stressed lately, so I put some keywords in my trash to help me focus on what's most important. I don't want to be distracted from my goal.
I'm focused on gaining seats between now and 2018, I suggest we all focus on that goal. Our democracy depends on us being laser focused at this point.
I'm sorry there's still disagreement here, but we have a lot of work to do over the next two years. I, personally, don't want to go "there" at this point.
Oh, and my juries lately have been much more remedial topics for the most part. I've been extremely lucky I guess.
ETA: My lucky jury streak has just ended.

(12,839 posts)My jury duty is ALWAYS about somebody getting their undies in a bunch over Bernie/Hillary slights.

(17,984 posts)I started a sarcastic thread with a funny pic of Bernie saying basically the same thing, and my post got locked for fighting the primaries.

(12,839 posts)Someone says "Unity!" around here, and it seems okay.
But if someone posts, "Bernie says we need unity!" or "Hillary says we need unity!" then you get VERY different reactions -- even though the message IS THE SAME.

Here's one that was posted just below yours:

Quite a few others going around that are quite similar.

(2,857 posts)I was getting a lot of jury duty duty over it too.... till I said something about how everyone was alerting over the most ridiculous things. Everyone agreed with me, but someone alerted on me too, lol. I was interfering with running the board even though a huge number of people agreed.
I still feel the same way. People should be able to discuss current events without being alerted on. If those in the primary are still involved in politics, we should be able to discuss their current situation without someone with thin skin running to tattle. JMO. I still think a lot of the alerts are being made by non democrats btw.
