(1,097 posts)Registration closed March 20 and civil rights groups sued. Court agreed that it was discrimination and ordered that registration would remain open through May 20 so hopefully voters are paying close attention and come back for run off and new registrants will make a big difference. We shall see when early voting results are reported.

(4,429 posts)Democrats need to figure out how to win these seats. There's a way to reach many of these undecideds - I feel as though we have worked hard (as a party) on messaging. But it's not about messaging - it's about communication style. That's what I like about Bernie - when he speaks, I trust him. We need to develop that (imo) - a style that resonates with honestly
If we can't win these hard races, we're stuck with Orange-guy and his robber baron agenda for a long time

(1,097 posts)This House healthcare bill should be used to Handel's detriment. I bet I've heard 8 alternating tv ads this morning alone. One from Handel, the next from Ossoff. Hope he's not out of funds cuz he needs a new ad to hit that health care bill hard and NOW.

Pfft, nevermind -- not trusting this poll anyway and they only polled 611 voters. Although Landmark is the same used for prior polls. Still, I'll look elsewhere.

(1,097 posts)The prior poll was provided by CBS news. The following info is from NBC news.
House Majority PAC released the poll on Friday, showing Ossoff, a Democrat, with 50 percent of the vote over his GOP rival, Karen Handel, with 48 percent. Feeling much better now.
Each poll is recent, both taken independently and at same time.
