(15,543 posts)republican Comrade Casino and his republican Kabal of Kolluding Komrades are swimming in a foul cesspool of lies and deception. In their perpetual panicky fear state, they are flailing to drag all of America into the lies, disrespect, meanness, anti-truth and dark confusion that is their reality.
Weak-souled rulers, like the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief and his KGOP minions, put on a ferociously aggressive pose for the world, in a deranged attempt to cover up the fear that lives and breaths in their hearts. Soul sickness. Sad. There is a better way, called honesty and truth. Takes courage. But it's worth it.

(1,058 posts)"The president and the foreign minister reviewed a range of common threats to our two countries, including threats to civil aviation," McMaster said. "At no time, at no time, were intelligence sources or methods discussed, and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known."
I'd be interested to understand if McMaster was actually present for the meeting, or if he was told this. The latter is more interesting if it turns out that McMaster's statement is false.

So the big news is that Trump *doesn't* deny the WaPo reportinstead, tries to defend his actions (and in the process contradict McMaster).

(1,825 posts)1. Was reporter/ photographer in the room when the info was given?
2. Was the conversation taped? By the Russians and or Trump?
3. Why was American press refused admittance to this meeting? Was more shared with Russia then what we are being told?
These things need to be known. ASAP.

(1,397 posts). . . is a bullshit pipe dream.
In Russian terms, "terrorists" and "terrorism" is anyone the Russians perceive as a threat. In Syria, for example, the "terrorists" are those who oppose Assad and his murderous regime.
Trump and his advisors are too damn stupid to understand this. Yes, there are areas in which our goals parallel those of Russia. This is not one of them.

(9,291 posts)For humanitarian reason, about flight safety? Does he understand anything about aviation? Does he know how many airliners they have shot out of the sky? I also believe they have the worst accident rate in the world.
Not to mention screwing over our allies. When the next terrorist attack come, and it's coming, any country who will have the inside track won't tell us. He making everyone less safe, and you don't need to be on a airline.
