I know they were critical of Michelle for showing off her toned arms, but I think they criticized the President for short-sleeved shirts, too.

(15,543 posts)liberated the restaurant to lower the height of the sneeze guard by 8 inches, according to what some say. So this SCALDING OBAMA SCANDAL, could actually have been a nefarious republican set up.
How much simpler the world is now that we have only to deal with the russian ACTS OF WAR on America aided and abetted by the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief and his republican Cabal of Colluding Cronies.

...is one of my all-time favorites of the many heartwarming pictures over the 8 years. The little girl to his left with one hand on his arm, and her other arm around his back, and her head tilted toward him, is especially sweet.

(82,849 posts)During the 2008 campaign, when candidate Obama had (hide the kids) orange juice with his breakfast? The monster! Fortunately, Tweety was all over it, but the fix was already in, and the nation's nightmare was on like Donkey Kong:

(24,172 posts)I am not a coffee drinker, so I always decline the coffee offer. And, I always have orange juice with breakfast when eating out. What the hell is weird about that?
NOTHING!

(2,978 posts)I really do. It's an in-my-face reminder of how we went from the most human, decent and cool president ever to an ignorant, fat, hyper-white bigot. How dafuq did we whipsaw so far in the opposite direction from one presidency to the other?

(63,221 posts)I have the same feeling. First nostalgia for what we had and then suddenly I remember where we are now and a wave of nausea overcomes me. I can barely wrap my mind around it. It's heartbreaking!

(7,220 posts)That horrible time in our nation's history when the president forgot to signal his patriotism by wearing a flagpin on his lapel? Oh, God, the flashbacks I'm having just thinking about it. Because as we all know, being all flagged up is the one and only thing that distinguishes the patriots from the terrorists.
OMG, and remember the "terrorist fist-bump" with Michelle?
How did we ever survive?

(11,654 posts)Don't forget the outrage about him relaxing in contemplation with his feet elevated on the desk and his chair leaning back with his arms folded behind his head!
And then there was his golfing, and beergate, and don't forget the executive orders, and the Obama holidays! The real howling I remember, though, was the staff he took with him overseas at taxpayer expense!

(3,148 posts)We had tons of pictures that showed past president with their feet up on the desk. Still didn't stop the Republicans from losing their minds.

The pompous Food Network dickhead tweeted about what a disgrace it was that President Obama was in the Oval Office wearing a casual shirt and jeans. For Shame!
Reality Check: it was a photo of the President at his desk, working the phones, ON A SATURDAY!!!
And it was because there'd been some breaking news that had just happened, that needed the Commander-in-Chief's immediate attention, interrupting an otherwise quiet uneventful Saturday afternoon with the family in the Residence. Guess the ultra fastidious GZ, who must wear suit and tie to take a shower, is a major league pissant.
