They might be barking mad but we still only need one that is not for all of those scenarios to fail.

(22,919 posts)Am I following this right? This chart seems to say that after a "skinny bill" is approved that McConnell would then seek to amend it with new provisions, replacing the House bill that passed. Then the House would vote to accept that version if it passes the Senate.
That doesn't sound like something the Freedom Caucus in the House would stand for. I thought a Conference Committee was supposed to hammer out a House/Senate Compromise that then would go back to both chambers for a vote.
