Is she saying that he's presidenting like a girl? I remember the meme (90's and 00's) about the "feminization of America" and "We're getting too soft." 45's problems are that he's a narcissistic bully.

Noonan thinks reagan was a god. Maybe she's just mad that trump didn't hire her for speeches. What kind of woman complains that trump is too womanish.

She is atrocious, and even when she trashing trump, she is the still worse than a broken clock. He hasn't been right twice a day in her life.

That is exactly my thought of why Noonan chose to use the imagery of "womanish" (is that a word) because she wanted to make him crazy at the thought of being called "a girl" and negatively to a woman....

Yes, it was designed to get under the phony squatters very thin skin....

32. That's not what Noonan was saying.
Fri Jul 28, 2017, 03:34 AM
Jul 2017

She is actually pointing out that for all Trumps tough talk and trying to portray himself as the "ultimate man's man" he actually comes across as a wimpy, whining, sniveling, baby. She is saying that Trump tries to prescribe to the traditional norms of American masculinity, seeing himself as the ultimate alpha male, as he has spent a lifetime of trying to style himself as a "predator" who will fire someone and ruin lives at a moments notice. This was on full display during the campaign when Trump literally, again prescribing to the rules of traditional male dominance, tried to bully and belittle Hillary simply because she was a woman.

Noonan isn't saying that women are weak, or that Trump is acting like a woman. She is saying that Trump isn't half the man he thinks he is. In essence Trump views himself a lot like Putin, difference is Putin - another man who prescribes to the same traditional masculinity as Trump does, is actually not a fake tough guy like Trump is.

So, despite this smack down, she's still a Republican shill and I'll give her no respect.
