ACA Thread of Support

If your life has been made better because of the ACA, you have medical care you otherwise wouldn't, or know someone who does, check-in. Time to send positive vibes out into the ether in hopes we can save this great achievement...

A son of a friend of mine got into a skateboarding accident and has a traumatic brain injury. He has insurance because of The ACA.

We don't know how bad he is going to be, or how long the recovery time will be--they have temporarily removed part of his skull to accommodate swelling of the brain.

God damn Republicans

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
