(14,565 posts)I have to say I'm thrilled and astonished. The past two days I intentionally haven't been paying attention, sure that they would pass something and Trump would gloat. I've been catching up on the world swimming championships. In fact, it was a post on one of those swimming forums that revealed that the bill had been defeated. That poster was excited that we had escaped a health care disaster. I had to read it 3 or 4 times. Suddenly swimming meant nothing. And now I find out here that McCain was actually the saving vote. Unbelievable. Maybe he was still confused about Hillary receiving preferential treatment from Russia, or whatever he said to Comey. Such a blur.
