On Tuesday night, Breitbart News presented a photo of MS-13 gang members in El Salvador as if they were DACA recipients in the United States.

The photo of El Salvadoran gangsters appeared at the top of an article about DACA recipients on Breitbart’s website and on its Twitter account. Twitter user @_Almaqah traced the image back to a Getty photo from January 2013 showing gang members gesturing in San Salvador.

1) 2,193 DACA recipients out of, what - 800,000? That's a whopping, uh... 3/10 of 1%. Lower than most national averages I can find for property and violent crimes. But...

2) What crimes are included - Jaywalking? Speeding? Murder? Makes the 2,193 figure completely meaningless. Furthermore...

3) The 2,193 figure includes accusations, too, not just convictions, because doing so pads the number to make it bigger. Even though it's still small. Really, Brietbart? Sad!

And of course the inventors of fake news (Fox, Hate radio) have no problem making up shit to persecute PoC.

It's hard for me to believe that any latino would ever vote republican but many did.
