Good God, 'He's' doing a rally in Alabama tonight...will Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III be there?

He's doing a rally for Luther Johnson Strange III....for senate

I swear I died and woke up in a Kurt Vonnegut novel......

4. Hatch Act should prevent that. Sessions is a cabinet member and is not allowed to be political

Not Cabinet officers or other presidential appointees. Obama Cabinet officials appeared at Democratic campaign events like others before them.

That said, by tradition the cabinet secretaries covering State, Defense and the Attorney General do not show at campaign events but there is no law or rule about it.

Republicans can break any laws they want because they know there is no oversight, no ethics, and no AG who will charge them. Can't get much more Banana Republic than that.

Another thing I noticed (I was not from that state) was that once they graduated they went by their first initial and middle name, eg., A. Lee Dargan III.
