Trump Prepares to Pick His Own Auditor at the IRS

Donald Trump soon will get to choose a new leader for the IRS, a person who may have two high-profile and sensitive jobs: helping implement the the president’s proposed tax cuts and overseeing an audit of his tax returns.

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen’s term expires on Nov. 12 and he is unlikely to be reappointed. He was hired by President Barack Obama and is loathed by congressional Republicans, who tried to impeach him in 2016.

Trump hasn’t nominated anyone to replace Koskinen. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, whose department includes the Internal Revenue Service, is said to be in the early stages of the selection process, according to two people familiar with the matter.

There are so many, many things, I wonder how much will be lost to history.

You would think as easily offended as he is that he would care a great deal what history will say of him and curb some of his more offensive behavior.

But, I guess he lives for only the moment, plus he can't help himself - he is crazy.

There is so much that will come out, so much that will be written about... drip, drip, drip...

There will be books about Trump's sexually inappropriate behaviour.

There will be books how Trump destroyed the establishment-class of the GOP and replaced them with lunatics.

There will be books about his taxes, his business with russian money-launderer Felix Sater, his bankruptcies, him breaking contracts...

There will be books about his overt and covert racism...

There will be books about his personality, about whether or not he had mental illnesses, whether or not he had incestuous thoughts, whether or not he had dementia...

Doctors will launch petitions to have Trump's brain dissected to find out if he had dementia!!!

There will be books about Jared and Ivanka and how nepotism landed them WH jobs they were totally unqualified for.

Books about the russian collusion will be the least of Trump's problems. By the end of his term he will have single-handedly smeared the name "Trump" for generations. Poor Barron.
