I kept calling the White House during Katrina.
I was in disbelief that the people in NOLA were being made to suffer in those conditions. I was pleading with the women who answered the phones. Of course it was a futile exercise.
What is it about Republican administrations that takes them so long to get off the dime?
Gee, if I did not know better, I'd say that they were delaying on purpose.
