One former production assistant accused the Oscar winner of sexually assaulting him during one of the shows earlier seasons, CNN reports. All eight current or former employees spoke out anonymously for fear of reprisal.

(9,990 posts)...no longer being drunk decades ago. It's not even workplace harassment, which is bad enough... The incident in the story is present-day sexual assault. I thought Trump getting away with this would make the issue less important - it's good to see people are not going to shut up.

(1,387 posts)I always felt that the guy was too slick to be true, but I never imagined him engaging in outright "in your face" predatory behavior. Wow.
Next big role for Spacey ,the teary-eyed :
"I'm so sorry ... blah, blah, blah ... ongoing counseling... blah blah, blah..." contrition and image rehabilitation media tour.

(26,060 posts)away with it. This goes all the way down to the manager at mcdonalds not allowing a young girl extra shifts to pay for her prom dress unless she puts up with his abuse and harassment. The is a problem with people in power over other people.

(4,103 posts)The same goes for Weinstein, neither of them ever ran for office or played to role of political pundit like Bill O'Reilly.
I look at this the same way I look at all the other entertainer who have been accused of sexual abuse, like Ted Nugent, R. Kelly, or Chris Brown. I don't see the political connection that Republicans so desperately trying to make.

(4,492 posts)Kevin Spacey did play a POTUS on TV.
(The show could easily kill off his character and continue).
