Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI just read Michelle Malkin's piece in the paper.
I read a local newspaper everyday. I read it online with a slick app that's just like turning the pages, so I feel like a citizen of the 21st century. Anyway, in today's op-ed Michelle Malkin railed against those whom she feels coddle Islam after a terror act. She cited many in the news who recently stated that Allahu Akba simply means "God is great". She labels them "Jihad deniers".
With my interest piqued on where she was going, I read on. Malkin made her case that all Islam is murderous because they use that same phrase shouted by so many terrorists. It's right there in their Quran. About Islamophobia death threats, she asked which is worse: The imagined backlash against Muslims, or the hi-jackers and headchoppers. She defers eventually to her expert, "Islam scholar and author" Dr Robert Spencer to further demean those who fear from attack by "right wing yahoos". His latest book on Amazon is "Confessions Of An Islamophobe". Look it up, that's her expert.
Malkin finishes up scoffing at Muslims who claim an anti-Islam backlash as "Mosques requesting police protection reacting to every sneeze as a hate crime".
She said that.
She said that right after two full columns of ginning up a violent retribution for an entire religion. She ends by ironically demanding we "stop the whitewash". At least she leaves 'em laughing.
I've read op-eds for decades, but I don't think it was ever this hate filled and divisive. Sure, there have been some I fumed at in the past, but never was it so close to inciting a civil war or at least a race riot.
Since I read it in the paper, I don't have a link, but if someone wants to read her trash they can search "editorials by racist immigrants not named Walter Williams".

(748 posts). . . "Allahu Akbar" does not mean "God is great." Rather, it means "Allah is greater" or "Allah is greatest."
That is, it is a statement of comparison.

(6,133 posts)she filled in for Bill OReillys television show.
It was peppered with slogans and cliches from the right. Every noun like liberals had an adjective to go along with it like lying liberals.
I watched an opinion piece that was without an original thought, and one that was just a stream of pure hate.
