GOP Tax Bill - Does it eliminate Head of Houeshold Filing Status?

I am a single mom and being able to file Head of Household reduced my tax bill - Federal and California.

I heard someone on radio say that Head of Household status will be removed. If true, for sure my tax bill is going up. And add to that the elimination of a deduction for state and local taxes and no medical expenses deductions, and I'm up shit creek.

BTW, I recall Trump talking about doing this on the campaign trail - https://nwlc.org/resources/eliminating-the-head-of-household-filing-status-would-hurt-women/. More of his hatred of women.

Boy do I despise the ppl who voted for Trump as he is hurting my ability to take care of myself and my kids.

The House bill will be torn to shreds in the Senate, and that's just by the Republicons. You simply cannot please fifty of them at a time.

is three of them to be pissed off. Murkowski and Collins have already shown that they'll take their ball and go home if they don't get what they want. Paul is content to be a malcontent, and certainly Trump has alienated Corker, Flake and McCain, those three will not automatically bow to the will of the man occupying the White House.

No, it doesn't.

From Section 1002 of the tax bill on standard deduction:

(B) three-quarters of the amount ((24,400)) in effect 12 under subparagraph (A) for the taxable year, in 13 the case of an unmarried individual with at 14 least one qualifying child (within the meaning 15 of section 7706), and
