Sessions will resign or be fired so Trump can appoint a new Attorney General who will fire Mueller

The word is that Sessions will resign or be fired so Trump can appoint a new Attorney General who will fire Mueller.
It is just a rumor but it may be something Trump is planning on.

Do you think this will happen?

Should we try to keep Sessions as AG?

should do everything to keep Sessions as AG. If not, Trump could win this one.

Mueller is finished. Hey, as Sessions said, " I love this job." I don't see him leaving so easily. He's given up his Senate seat. He did properly recuse himself. Who knew Rosenstein would appoint Mueller.

And any nominee would be grilled hard for assurances that they would not interfere with the investigation. Of course Trump would find some flunky because no reputable person would want the job but they’d have to survive a confirmation hearing.

What's your source of information? I'm not familiar with you, so I have no idea whether I should pay any attention to your predictions.

You say "the word is that..." but whose word are you talking about? Yours? If so, then you need to tell us a little about yourself and why you would know those things.

Thanks.

Nominee has to be approved by the Senate. Mitchie will bend over and say thank-you, can I have another? Not sure what the other Senators will do

Apparently Lawrence Tribe shared that when Sessions testified at Congress, that this was " bait" from tTrump....Democrats took that bait ....

Now, tRump can justify Sessions firing and install a Loyalist Attorney General..... Then, fire Mueller.

I don't Tweet....but those here who do....I strongly suggest you follow Lawrence Tribe Twitter feed...he covers this issue ....

He can tell Rosenstein to. And then fire him and replace him until he finds someone to fire Mueller.

If he fires Sessions a new AG would have to get Senate confirmation and would be grilled on Mueller and the investigation. Even if he fired Sessions today a confirmation hearing wouldn't even take place until 2018.

... is it because he has recused himself and cannot? Or because he has some principles after all? Or because he thinks the backlash against him would be too strong?

I'm curious. I can't believe Sessions has any morals so I'm guessing he's scared. And rightfully so.
