(14,565 posts)That's the difference. I have no idea why they were suckered by Trump last year but at least they saw the light quickly and have reversed.
Trump's approval rating is the ongoing variable. We were fortunate to catch this race as that approval dipped to low 30s. I wish I could push a button and freeze the same approval number for election day 2018.

(2,034 posts)We are fast approaching the 1 yr mark for this kakistocracy. Ross is in trouble, Devos is supposed to be on the way out, Flynn is hanging like a fart cloud over everything. The lack of winning, combined with the stench of corruption is going to make even more people reconsider the faith they've placed in sleazy Don and the GOP con.
Hopefully dems can unite and lean into those headwinds strongly over the next year. For tonight though, I am just happy to celebrate the dem's sweep!
