(100,145 posts)He probably wouldn't make it past the first round of questioning because he would automatically assume everyone is guilty!

(32,154 posts)And he wanted everyone to be innocent.
"I have jury duty, can you believe this? I look forward to it actually," Trump said. "I have no expectations. I just hope they're innocent. Whoever it is, I hope they're innocent."
Ultimately Trump was dismissed and not chosen for a case, but here's what happened when the Republican presidential candidate showed up for jury duty today:
Its like winning the lottery, to come on Donald Trump Day, Alex Hamburger, the 22-year-old juror who sat next to Trump this morning, told ABC News.
"He was a nice guy to speak to. I didnt think he was going to speak to me. I asked what he was having for lunch, almost as a joke, because hes just sitting there, everyone's quiet, no ones speaking, said Hamburger, who also told ABC News that he would not vote for Trump.

(32,154 posts)do a lot of things for a positive impression. Yes Trump did it for that. And so did Obama. I suspect he had a hundred things he would rather be doing than going to the Daley Center today.

(3,011 posts)full of self-importance. He will never be loved like Obama. I only hope he knows that.
I've thought how gratifying it would be for thousands of people to send him clippings of Obama's accomplishments, awards, etc. right to his jail cell. Anybody down for that?

(27,850 posts)Obama, OTOH, would pay attention to every detail, no matter how minor it seemed.
