I'm sickened and bored
I'm tired of the rehashing of what feels like the same shit, different names, different day
When did it creep up on me?
I'm gonna try and force myself to watch Rachel, but I know I'll end up trying to forget it all and just watch stupid shit on Netflix...The need to escape is strong.
Oh shit...that's just what they WANT, isn't it?
I'm screwed

(1,701 posts)You have to tune it out from time to time for the sake of your mental health. Don't feel guilty about it. If you get too down, it will affect your life in deleterious ways and then you won't be able to be effective in ways that you want to be. Be good to yourself!

(14,501 posts)Like you, I can't stand the sight or sound of tRump, so for a long time I've been going to the BBC and Guardian in the UK for my coffee-time news. There are some good Canadian, French and German sites, too.
Their editorial content is excellent and the travel sections always have some soothing and interesting reads.
For a refreshing break, see:

Good luck, and you have plenty of company here with that same problem.
