on Chris Hayes' show the night after the election. Chris tried to get her to talk about her book, but Donna interrupted and babbled about great DEMOCRATS! YAY!

She knows she shitcanned her career so she tried to make nice to Democrats. Just a wee bit late, Donna.

If had to choose I would choose the president.

But Carville would never do to a fellow Democrat what Donna B. did to Hillary by giving the opposition massive talking points.

from some of his friends who worked on the Kerry campaign on election eve.

Not to mention, both Carville and Begala, though they trashed Bush regularly on their show, were pretty unhelpful to John Kerry arguing that he was just anybody but Bush. In fact, the idea "anybody but X" makes sense ONLY in the primaries, where the idea is that the majority would prefer any of the known opponents over the frontrunner and that they should unite behind the strongest alternative candidate. In the general election, in ANY election, a large number of people are very likely to favor "their" party.

What neither did was to bother to look at anything Kerry did in his long years of service - other than Vietnam. Consider that SCHIP, which both spent hours praising 4 years later had a precursor bill that was written by Kennedy and Kerry. Yet, I doubt either man bothered to repeat Kennedy's praise for Kerry on his work on that bill.

I would also argue, that none of the 2008 or 2016 candidates gave either of these people a big position in their campaigns.
