I don't know whether or not the republican party could have revoked his status as their candidate earlier, but at the moment it's too late to make changes to the ballot.

Moore went to do a public Veteran's Day thing and he was greeted by a lot of protesters from the area. Most of them seemed to be ...parents.

BTW....the girl's family are well off, and Republican, and they and their friends still protest against Moore.

Supporters are pulling out. Idiots are defending Moore, sane people are not. Moore is losing supporters.

Soon we will be asking whatever happened to him, like we do about Joe the Plumber, ( who was a plant)

Just as a matter of general principle, under what conditions do you believe it would be a good idea to have the state decide to remove qualified candidates from the ballot?

Would you imagine any scenarios in which such an ability would be abused?

I’m fairly certain the state of Alabama would have done that already when a black man believed to have been born in Kenya was on the ballot for president.

I remember reading about a few of the cases, which caused all sorts of consternation and not a little unintended humor.

After that election, the Senate will be 51-49.

Jones will have to be a moderate, but we will have him on key votes.
