Very powerful testimonial today as to what Roy Moore did to her.
I do find it stunning she voted for Trump considering.
However, having said that she has taken away the political angle.
What a brave woman.

(62,287 posts)A lot of women from that time have some seriously scary skeletons that are going to come out about incidents like this.

(5,273 posts)Leaving black and blue marks on her neck and speeding off in his car, leaving her down on the concrete.
Guess that is why she could support Trump, since Moore's attack was much worse than anything alleged against Trump so far.

(28,824 posts)she chose to overlook presumably because she's from the country known as Alabama where republicanism is more sacred than religion.
glad she's asserting herself now though. SMH that she could and did vote for trump.

(15,402 posts)Hatred of anything Democratic is bred into them down there.
why anyone would stay in that god-forsaken place is beyond me.
"Hey, Moore may be a pedophile and a rapist, but at least he doesn't prosecute good ole' boys that kill black folk...he's our man!!"
And please any DUer from AL, please spare me the "there's good folks down here" bullshit, because, really, that's all it is. It's bullshit.
"Good People" don't stay is a state that elects known pedophiles and rapist to the halls of power...they get the fuck out!!
Let's see if the "good folks" show up on election day, or if Alabama will truly select a pedophile to "lead" them.
You know God Damn well why Alabamans can't stomach the Democratic Party. It's too "colorful" for their tastes. You know I'm right. Hell, the whole fucking world knows I'm right, so please spare us the "good people down here" crap.

(15,402 posts)But she was born and raised in racist asshat Alabama.
In 1992...1992 mind you, I got stationed in Pascagoula, MS.
We had an indoc brief where the Master Chief explained to us the places that Black, Asian and Hispanics could not go, and the list of off-duty places that we couldn't go to because they refused to allow black Sailors. This included a whole shit-ton of Barber shops that wouldn't cut African Americans hair.
Noticing how close Mobile Alabama was, we asked about going there. We're told it's even worse.
So these were Sailors serving their god damned country that risked their lives if they went to the wrong business.

(1,353 posts)Moore wasn't running for senator all those years ago... She came out only because she realized she wasn't the only one... There are probably more...this is awful...
Some idiot on CNN, Moore supporter, says it has to be proved...this can't be tried in court, correct? The proof is all the people who were told to back them up...the proof is these were young girls, scared of this monster. Case closed.

(104 posts)Left me shaking. If anyone could watch her and not see deep down how truthful she was being, how she once again became that terrified young girl being assaulted by a sexual predator...then they are as sick and twisted as he is. My heart breaks for her and I deeply admire her for speaking out. I don't care who she voted for. She has my everlasting respect for displaying such courage today.
